While the atmosphere at The Bear's Paw was good and the staff were genuinely friendly, the food didn't quite hit the mark-especially the lukewarm turkey during the festive meal. It was nice to enjoy our time there, but some aspects need improvement.

Had a really amazing stay on this visit, glad I've chosen it. Superior queen room was beautifully decorated, the beds were nice. The location was nice and ideal - close to the communal areas, the main bar/restaurant, and a church.

The Hotel itself was wonderful.....lovely surroundings and decor....really lovely...we would return again....the food was excellent.....lovely countryside also
The Hotel and the food was fantastic....room was also very lovely...I was a little bit dissapointed as I had booked an executive room and we got a standard room....we had no milk in our room for a cuppa tea/coffee in the morning and also the shower didn't get hot...just luke warm....other than that..we enjoyed our stay very much

We had a fantastic one-night escape, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and a delightful dinner with amazing homemade burgers and chunky chips. Breakfast was a treat, too, with beautifully cooked eggs and a selection that impressed our tastebuds. Can't wait to return!

The Bears Paw is a lovely country inn that was refurbished as a result of a fire. The refurbishment is to a very high standard and maintains the country inn feel, while providing high standard accomodations in a beautiful location. The room I stayed in was a good size, very well appointed with comfortable furniture and had a nice view over open countryside. There is a nice village church opposite and footpaths lead away from the car park of the inn if you want to get out. The bar-restaurant is again well finished and the food and drinks are really very, very good. Dinner was delicious as was the breakfast. The staff are attentive and friendly. A great place to stay in Cheshire, and would make a good stop off if you are travelling the M6 and would like a really nice country inn to stay inn.

The hotel was very modern and the rooms had a quality feel. Food in the bar was good, high standard gastro-pub.
Poor cold selection at breakfast, especially juice. Fire alarm during the night was a problem as there were no staff on the premises. Fire brigad were not impressed with this or the alarm panel/system.

Really good service and cozy ambiance
The staff were attentive, particularly during breakfast, where the selection was excellent. One downside was the noise insulation. We could hear some activity from the corridor.

We arrived on the evening of our wedding day. The room we stayed in was lovely-well appointed and cosy. We dined together that evening with our friends, and we all agreed that the food was first class, both in deliciousness and quantity! The service was attentive, but not overly so, and the ambiance good. The breakfast the following morning upheld the standards- both in choice and quality.

This is the pearl of Cheshire. If you want to relax, eat great food, sleep in the most comfortable bed and if you like your pet with you on holidays you must stay here. This place is luxurious yet not pretentious, Friendly but very professional, stunning food but not in £££. Absolute winner!

good stay with easy access to parks and local landmarks
The charming decor and friendly staff. The quick access to fine parks nearby and fascinating local attractions like Sandbach Town Hall created a perfect weekend getaway vibe. The complimentary dog-friendly amenities were a thoughtful touch for pet owners like me, but the meal options could be improved in variety.

A really lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff and comfortable well appointed rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant and both the food and service were superb. I would definitely return here - it was a real find.
